The first day of ACL Fest brought great weather, nice temperatures. This was probably the best ACL day we’ve had so far in terms of comfort. Good idea to move to October. Now, we just need to keep our fingers crossed that we don’t get rained out today. Here are some scenes from Friday.

Phoenix was my favorite of the day. They sounded great, had a lot of energy. I’ll be getting their album! It was very sweet when the lead singer said they had never played to a crowd this large. He jumped down into the audience at the end of their set.

Pheonix was great, they were very appreciative. Also, Them Crooked Vultures were insane, so much talent on one stage.

Ah, good memories of a beautiful day, pre-rain-then-pig-farm-mudfest.
